Montanuniversität Leoben – Study Center

The urban spatial structure of the study center, library and canteen, which was already presented in the first stage, remains in place. The space thus defined is now clearly being developed as a multifunctional public space. At the same time, the accessibility along the river is being significantly enhanced again directly from the current lecture hall center and from the train station and can be read as the main entrance to the study center. The study center itself is clearly organized. Between the individual functional groups, the study areas are arranged on all floors.
The division of the required space program into three independent structures brings the desired identity-creating campus square to the area of this central extension of the Montanuniversität Leoben already at an early stage, with the possibility of networking all university locations.
