Triple AAA – multi-generation housing

Our project, as a result of a multidisciplinary cooperation between Riepl Kaufmann Bammer Architecture, EBG Baugenossenschaft, Atelier Auböck + Kárász, wohnbund:consult-Gutmann and our office, for the developer competition “Multi-generation: housing Stavangergasse, Vienna 22” advertised for bids by the wohnfonds_wien.
The goal wasn’t to create an idealised community but to create a range of communicative space of possibilities within a varied urban life. Centre to the project are both: the smart barrier free apartments for private retreat and the collectively with-each-other that create an active urban life within a multi-generation solidary united and creative neighbourhood.
